Missouri Baptist institutions will equally share 24% of the offering receipts. Ethnic Ministries will receive 34% of the offering. Next Generation work splits 42% three ways with the largest portion for collegiate summer missions and a slightly smaller amount for new church starts.
How can I participate?
One great need is prayer.
Baptist institutions in Missouri stand in need of fervent prayer support and encouragement during these trying times. The ethnic mix within Missouri grows each day- there is need for prayer that we will be faithful to the Great Commission. There is a good future for Baptist life in Missouri if we pray and work for that end. Another need is for learning. Look around! Wherever you are in Missouri, there you can be the presence of Christ. Who is the child or senior adult in need of encouragement today? Who is that man or woman sensing God's call to vocational ministry? Who is that person who does not look like you who needs to hear a word from the Lord? To each of these and others, God has entitled you to be the presence of Christ.
